EXECUTIVE TEAM

Ken Meadows, CEO/Owner
Ken Meadows was born and raised in Orange County, California. After proudly serving our country during the Vietnam War as a member of the Navy on the Ranger aircraft carrier, he began working in the building industry for a plumbing contractor; and in 1984 Plumbing Concepts, Inc. was founded. Through his love for the business and with the dedication of an incredible staff, Plumbing Concepts has emerged as one of the most highly respected plumbing companies in the industry.

Ken enjoys water sports and spending time with his wife, Cheryl, and two children, Courtney and Brian. He also enjoys spending as much time as he can at the Colorado River. When time permits, Ken's passion for drag racing keeps him busy, as his dragster competes in the N.H.R.A.

John Raya, President
A life long resident of southern California, with a family history in construction, John began plumbing in August of 1971. He has worked most types of residential construction through out the southland. John enjoys the satisfaction of providing a service that makes a difference in the quality of life for families and the communities they live in. The enduring qualities of homebuilding provide a lasting reminder of the team and co-operative efforts that go into the construction. His many years in this industry have helped to support his family as well as provided opportunity for community involvement. John became part of the Plumbing Concepts team in August of 2003. His many years of experience have been put to good use a member of the Sales team and as the Executive Vice President.

Together with his wife, Kim, John has raised four children, Arlana, Shannon, John Jr. and Aaron; they are also blessed with four grandchildren. John has served on many non-profit groups and he is the founder of TKO a successful youth boxing organization that is designed as a gang prevention program in Santa Ana.

Chuck Porter, Vice President of Construction
Chuck Porter has over 22 years of experience in both commercial and residential plumbing. Before he became the Vice President of Construction at Plumbing Concepts he was the Division Manager of the Murrieta location. His previous work as both the Division Manager and an Area Manager has been essential to the continued level of quality and satisfaction that Plumbing Concepts provides to their customers.

Chuck has his C-36 Plumbing Contractors license and has owned and operated his own water treatment business. Chuck enjoys playing the guitar, fishing, being a good godfather and spending time with his wife Noel and their son Hayden.

Dean Shirai, Vice President of Sales
Dean Shirai began his plumbing career in 1976 when he worked for a small service and repair shop in Downtown Los Angeles. He completed his 4 year apprenticeship while attending Los Angeles Trade Technical College. Throughout his years of plumbing Dean has gained invaluable experience which made the transition from an Area Manager in the field to doing Sales in the office much easier. He has had the opportunity to work throughout California, including Lake Tahoe, where he was able to learn plumbing in both freeze and frost conditions. Dean has been a member of the sales team since 2005.

Dean enjoys working on, and traveling with, the Plumbing Concepts sponsored N.H.R.A. Top Alcohol Funny Car team. He also enjoys spending time in Lake Havasu with his wife Carolyn.
