Water Treatment Division
Why Oceanus

Oceanus vs. the Competition
Just like most things in life today, you have choices when it comes to what products you purchase. Water treatment options are no different. So what sets the Oceanus systems apart from the rest? The answer is easy - just about everything. From the flow rate to the warranty - the Oceanus systems are in a class by themselves.
Sizing
California plumbing code requires that any device attached to the water system be full flow. This means that if you have a 1 ” water service, then the softener also needs to be 1 ” through the entire system to be sized correctly. While most systems may seem like they are sized to fit your house - they are not. Most softeners will have the correct size inlet and outlet valve, but once inside, the valve gets restricted down to a smaller size. The Oceanus systems are full flow systems. They maintain the inlet size - with no internal restrictions, which means that all of the Oceanus systems will meet California plumbing code.
Flow Rate
Every water using appliance in your house has a required flow rate, usually measured in gallons per minute (See Table 1 for some examples).
The plumbing system in your house is designed to meet these requirements. Every water softener also has a flow rate in gallons per minute (gpm). Many of our competitors have a flow rate of only 8.5 gpm, which means that you, the homeowner, are going to experience problems, like pressure drop. With the Oceanus systems you don't have to worry about pressure drops, because our systems are designed to give you maximum flow rates (See Table 2 for flow rates).
Warranty
Unlike our competitors, the Oceanus softening systems are guaranteed for life to the original purchaser of the equipment. The valve, mineral container, resin, and salt tank are all covered under the lifetime warranty. Workmanship and materials are guaranteed for five years at the original installation site. After five years anything that fails on the system will be repaired for a maximum charge of $75.00 plus shipping (labor not included).
Independently Certified
Each of our water treatment products have been independently certified by the Water Quality Association (WQA) to help ensure that everything we tell you about our system is accurate. All of our products have earned the 'Gold Seal', and they are all certified for use in California. Don't buy a water treatment product without checking for the Gold Seal.
