Do You Have a Pressure Regulator? (How to Check)

Where to Look:

Walk outside your house and find your main water shut-off valve. This is usually located at the front of the house, right near the garden hose spigot, or inside the garage on the wall closest to the street.

Look at the pipe coming out of the ground. Do you see a brass fixture shaped like a bell? It is usually wider at the bottom and comes to a point at the top, and it has a long bolt sticking out of the top of it.
